This is a delightfully refreshing wine, surprisingly robust thanks to the Aragonez and Touriga Nacional of the Alentejo. Initially hinting at floral notes – a subtle flirtation, as Robert Parker noted with a respectable 90 points – they quickly find their footing with a vibrant acidity. A polished and elegant wine, it’s a real treat, particularly when paired with grilled red meats or, perhaps more traditionally, a hearty feijoada. Definitely one to revisit.
