Avidagos Rosé

Description

This Avidagos Rosé from the Douro is a wonderfully refreshing treat – perfect with salads or grilled fish, as you’d expect. Wine critic Grandes Escolhas awarded it 16.5 points, praising the intense aromas of fresh red berries and strawberries, alongside a creamy and balanced palate with a lovely, lingering finish. The schist-based vineyard, benefiting from excellent sun exposure, clearly plays a part in the quality of the grapes, and the careful use of batonnage adds to the wine’s complexity.
