Avignonesi Poggetto di Sopra is the Nobile di Montepulciano produced by the winery as part of an initiative launched by L’Alleanza, a group of five producers that also includes Salcheto, Poliziano, La Braccesca and Boscarelli. The quintet aims to preserve and promote the wines of this historic Tuscan denomination by showcasing its unique terroir and its flagship native grape, Sangiovese. Avignonesi’s offering is distinguished by its juicy, crisp fruit, lively acidity, and mature, enveloping tannins.
