Description

The Baías and Enseadas wines are the fruition of a long‑standing dream that began to materialise in 2012, with the purchase of the plot that would become the Ribeirinha vineyard in Codiceira, Sintra, followed by the actual planting the next year. It is essentially from these two vineyards that the grapes come, giving rise to the Baías and Enseadas wines. The sites are mainly clay‑limestone, with a predominance of clay in Ribeirinha and limestone in Campo, producing wines that are more voluminous in the former and more elegant in the latter. Blending grapes from both vineyards yields a more complex final product. (illustrative image)
