Description

The Baías and Enseadas wines realised an old dream that began to take shape in 2012, when the land at the future Ribeirinha vineyard in Codiceira, Sintra was cleared, followed by the actual planting the following year. These two vineyards supply the grapes that give rise to the Baías and Enseadas wines. The terroir is essentially clay‑limestone, with clay predominating in the Ribeirinha vineyard and limestone in the Campo vineyard, yielding wines that are fuller-bodied in the former case and more elegant in the latter. Combining grapes from both vineyards results in more complex wines. (Illustrative image only)
