Barão de Vilar A tribute to the Superior Douro—drawn from the sub‑regions of Cima Corgo, Baixo Corgo, and Vale de Foz Côa. In this terroir, Barão de Vilar blends the enological tradition of Port wine with the ageing potential of still wines, resulting in unique bottles that faithfully capture the excellence of the Douro. **Vinification** The grapes are carefully selected and hand‑picked at the ideal ripeness. After the harvest, they are transported to the cellar and cooled in a refrigerated chamber. The must undergoes three days of pellicular maceration in stainless‑steel tanks at 25 °C before fermentation begins. Later, part of the batch is aged in used barrels, giving the wine character and nuanced, spiced fruit notes. **Serve / Enjoy** Ready to drink. Ideal for relaxed sharing moments. Pairs perfectly with red meats and game. Picture it alongside a veal steak with a Port‑wine sauce. **Allergen information** Contains sulfites.
