Barbeito This batch is dedicated to a person who made a lasting mark on Ricardo Diogo’s career. Mr Yasuhiro Kinoshita, born 26 April 1924 and passing on 9 September 2003, took over his family business in September 1945 and elevated it throughout his life. In 1967 he chose to represent our wine in Japan. Ricardo Diogo first met Mr Kinoshita in June 1990 during a visit to Madeira; he proved a key influence in bringing him into the Barbeito family and steering the company to its present state.
