To produce this wine, Bardos selects small, ancient plots aged between 80 and 90 years, in Moradillo de Roa at 960 metres altitude. It is a historic town with a rich winemaking tradition, home to El Cotarro, one of the oldest cellar neighbourhoods in the designation, whose legacy dates back to the 15th century. The wine is structured, despite its smooth and sweet entry, with complex aromas of ripe fruit and hints of cocoa and dark chocolate from its barrel ageing—a showcase of subtlety and elegance.
