Baroni Di Pianogrillo Dèracinè Sicilia is a red wine aged for eight months in oak, though this is done in large barrels of up to 60 hectolitres so the fruit always remains the star. Despite coming from a warm region like Sicily, it feels fresh with very silky tannins on the palate, retaining the personality of Nero d'Avola, the island’s most representative grape. Its refined character makes it a versatile companion, from light summer appetizers to richly spiced or hearty dishes.
