The bottles of vintage wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Wine Cellar stores all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, but it always seeks to preserve the visual character that comes with age. We select brands and regions that, in general, display distinct traits in tastings of aged wines. Nonetheless, we remind you that wine is a living organism that ages, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve over time. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given that it is an old wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after many years sealed. If you decide to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect any sediment that an aged wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image only)
