Beyra “With the Beyra project we pioneered the concept of High‑Altitude Wines. In Vermiosa, among Portugal’s highest vineyards, I returned to the origins, in the very cellar where I made my first harvest.” – Rui Roboredo Madeira **Origin**: Organic wine from 100 % Jaén grapes grown on granite soils in the parish of Vermiosa, within the Douro International Natural Park, at an average altitude of 700 m. **Vinification**: Grapes hand‑picked, partially destemmed and crushed immediately. Natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement vats, no temperature control. **Aging**: 12 months in cement shells (2/3) and the remaining portion in used French oak barrels (1/3). Unfiltered, with a tendency to sediment as it ages.
