In 2011, Rui Reboredo Madeira returned to the same winery where he had made his first harvest in 1987. Located in the small village of Vermiosa, in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, among the highest vineyards in Portugal, his Beira Interior wines are vinified and aged there. This is how the Beyra wine brand was born, defined by excellence and the pioneering concept of "High Altitude Wines." In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, in the border region between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta, Rui Reboredo Madeira's passion for the aromas and scents of the land that shaped his character was born within the family. After years of experience and life in other parts of the world, Rui brings back to his roots what he has learned, launching a personal wine production project, always with the utmost respect for nature.
