Testamatta is a wine made 100 % from Sangiovese, sourced from young vines around 20 years old, and it represents the perfect blend of tradition and creativity, expressing the purity and elegance of this native grape. Vineyards: Vincigliata, Olmo, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena. Age of the vines: 35 to 50 years. Soil: a medium blend rich in limestone and clay. Canopy management: cordon with espalier and Guyot. Fermentation: natural in open barrels. Yields: 6 to 8 tonnes per hectare per day (manual). Maturation: 20 months.
