Bigi Orvieto Classico is a dry white wine that hails from Umbria, a region known as the “green heart of Italy.” It sits at the crossroads between the north and south of the country and the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian seas, an area where vines have been cultivated since Etruscan times. The town that gives the wine its name, Orvieto, is a beautiful walled city built on a hill that also alludes to a wine highly prized since antiquity. This particular bottle from the Bigi winery is one of its best examples.
