Bodegas de San Román y Viñedos were acquired in 1997 by the García family, who saw an opportunity to expand the business by purchasing plots of old vines in the Toro region. Today the estate covers 130 hectares of wine‑grown land certified as organic and with vines that are approximately 40 years old. Its wines are known for their exuberance, complexity, and mineralism. San Román Bodegas y Viñedos is the second winery of Mariano García and his family, in the Toro Denomination of Origin, founded after Bodegas Mauro in the Valle del Duero and completed with Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero that began in 2014. The three properties pursue a viticultural style that respects the unique characteristics of each terroir, which form a distinct winemaking philosophy. (Illustrative image only)
