Boizel This is a complex and very delicate rosé Champagne, born in the heart of Champagne’s finest red‑wine terroirs, in the villages of Cumières, in the Marne Valley, and in Les Riceys—the vineyard furthest south of the appellation, on the border with Burgundy. The Rosé Absolu blend is dominated by Pinot Noir (40 %), chosen for its character and finesse. Chardonnay (30 %) lends a refined elegance, while Meunier (30 %) provides a magnificent fruity fullness. Its beautiful color and red‑fruit aromas come from adding 8 % Pinot Noir vinified as red wine during the blend. The wine ages for 3 years on lees, with a dosage of 7 g per litre and 30 % reserve wines, including 4 % of reserve wines aged in foudres.
