This Borba Premium certainly seems to have had a rather eventful life. Its amber hue, flecked with crimson notes, hints at a generous – perhaps even a touch indulgent – aging of the red fruits. The nose reveals a delightful interplay of raisins and nuts, a clear sign of the influence of the Alentejo Aragonez, a grape renowned for its concentrated character. On the palate, this is confirmed with a balanced smoothness and a sophisticated finish, practically begging for a pairing with some well-aged cheeses or a good Iberian ham.
