The grapes, meticulously hand-picked at the peak of the autumn harvest, underwent a clever Brazilian-inspired approach – 30% crushed and 70% whole bunch – to unlock the full potential of their Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional, and Aragonez. A brief six-month maturation in French oak has simply retained the wine’s vibrant energy and complexity. The result is a deep ruby hue, layered with earthy and wild berry aromas, a subtle spice, and a luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, underpinned by refined tannins and a wonderfully mineral character.
