This Cãdio Reserva, hailing from the heart of the Douro, certainly doesn’t shy away from the expected. A predominantly Sousão wine, it’s beautifully balanced with the grace of Touriga Nacional and the robust energy of Aragonez. Notes of stone and rich soil speak volumes about its Douro origins, while the Touriga Francesa provides a subtle floral lift. A seriously structured wine – perfect alongside a hearty black pork roast, I’d say.
