This Arinto from the Setúbal Peninsula has certainly seen a few things – it presents a beautiful golden hue with a touch of oxidative complexity. The nose reveals notes of smouldering tobacco leaf, a hint of honey, and a touch of miru (miru being a local apricot variety), perfectly reflecting its origins. On the palate, the Atlantian acidity and freshness are an invitation to explore, unveiling a wonderfully Mediterranean complexity – it would pair beautifully with grilled fish with lemon and garlic, I’d suggest.
