Description

This Caladessa, hailing from the heart of the Alentejo, unfolds with a ruby-rich colour, hinting at the experience to come. Dried plum and ripe berry notes dance on the nose, complemented by spice – and, of course, the presence of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Francesa. The palate is luxuriously smooth, with tannins exhibiting signs of lovely maturation, a testament to the vineyard’s terroir. A well-deserved 16.5 points from Grandes Escolhas – absolutely brilliant with black pork or a fine roast turkey.
