Description

This Campolargo Rol Coisas Antigas, hailing from the Bairrada, feels like it’s been unearthed from a wonderfully dusty attic – brimming with character and, rather interestingly, a blend of Baga and Trincadeira grapes. It delivers a remarkably vibrant, almost cheeky acidity, wonderfully offset by the rustic charm of the Bastardo. A delightfully unexpected gem, perhaps a little too unconventional for the more traditional palate, but absolutely superb paired with a good, hearty pork dish or a robust beef. A truly intriguing expression of the Bairrada, and, as they rightly point out, a winner of the prestigious Grande Vitória prize.
