With Quintas in the Superior Douro, around Almendra, the Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira has been connected to viticulture in the region since the late nineteenth century. Today, the oldest vineyard dates back to 1966, and since then new traditional grape varieties have been introduced and converted to organic production. Since the construction of the cellar in 2004, the winery has been producing wines that reflect a passion for the land and respect for nature—wines that carry the scents and flavors of soil, slate, clay, flowers, and wild fruits.
