Carm Grande Reserva Branco

Description

CARM Grande Reserva Branco is an elegant, fresh and complex wine made from the grape varieties Códega do Larinho, Rabigato and Viosinho, sourced from old vines planted in the Superior Douro. Its nose shows strong minerality, with citrus notes in harmony with subtle floral nuances. On the palate it offers excellent body and freshness, finishing very long, fresh and mineral. Situated in the Quintas of the Superior Douro around Almendra, Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira has been involved in viticulture in the region since the late nineteenth century. Today the oldest vineyard dates back to 1966, and since then new traditional varieties have been introduced and converted to organic production. Since the construction of the winery in 2004, the wines produced reflect a passion for the land and respect for nature, evoking the aromas and flavors of earth, slate, stone, flowers and wild fruits.
