Carpe Noctem Douro Edition 2015 is made from 50 % Touriga Nacional, 30 % Touriga Franca and 20 % Tinta Roriz, grown on sandy soils. The wine is crafted from a meticulous hand‑picked selection of grapes. After fermentation in vats, it spends 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional 8 months in bottle before release. The result is an intense ruby‑coloured wine that offers a wide range of aromas, from fruit to floral, with a hint of mint. The balanced harmony of acidity and depth makes it long‑lived and refined, pairing beautifully with red meats, game and cheeses.
