The result is an intensely flavoured red, brimming with notes of dried fruits and spice, clearly paying homage to the region's heritage. Those smooth, velvety tannins, despite their firm structure, offer a truly impressive finish. A fantastic pairing would be with a good, dark pork roast – a classic, really.
