The “Quinta da Casa Amarela” is situated on the left bank of the Douro River, in an area designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, halfway between the towns of Régua and Lamego, at the heart of the world’s oldest demarcated wine region – the Douro. It has remained in the same family’s ownership since 1885. The farmhouse, rebuilt and expanded in the early twentieth century, gives the estate its name because it is painted yellow. A family‑run business that upholds the region’s multi‑century traditions in producing both Port wine and Douro Denomination of Origin wines.
