We are looking at a producer who has risen from the ashes. He came to stay and write a new chapter, but the house’s history dates back to the 19th century, when it was built. Great wines have been born from this estate and its vines. Who can forget the P63, once vinified by José Maria da Fonseca? Fate had left it almost abandoned in the wine world, with only a faint memory of the great wines that once came from it. Now a new owner—someone with taste and unwavering dedication—has taken the reins. Thus the new Casa da Passarella was born, ready to write another chapter in the house’s story and in the Dão region.
