We are looking at a producer reborn from the ashes. He has come to stay and write a new chapter, but the house’s history is old, dating back to the 19th century when it was built. Great wines were born here and in these vineyards. Who could forget the P63, then vinified by José Maria da Fonseca? Fate had left it “abandoned” to the wine world, leaving only a faint memory of the great wines that were born there. It also chose that the new owner would be someone of good taste, extremely dedicated to doing it well. Thus the new Casa da Passarella was born, to write a new chapter in the house’s history and in the Dão region. The wines are excellent, made with rigor and a great, great desire to do the best.
