This Villa Oliveira from Casa da Passarella is a truly glorious return for a house with a storied past. Made primarily from Encruzado vines that have been diligently working for over 40 years, the wine exhibits that characteristic resinous edge so typical of the Dão, alongside delightful nougat notes imparted by the 1/3 new oak aging. Remarkably clean and elegant, it’s reminiscent of the legendary P63 – a wine that earned a fantastic 94 points in *Revista de Vinhos*. A perfect match with a generous slice of cheese from Ovar, of course.
