We are confronted with a producer who has risen from the ashes. He came to stay and write a new story, but the house’s history is ancient, dating back to the 19th century when it was built. Great wines were born from this house and its vineyards. Who can forget the P63, which at the time was vinified by José Maria da Fonseca? Destiny left it “abandoned” to the wine world, leaving only a faint memory of the great wines that once sprung from it. Destiny also made the new owner a person of good taste, with an extreme dedication to doing things well. Thus the new Casa da Passarella was born, ready to write a new chapter in the history of this house and the Dão region. The wines are excellent, crafted with rigor and a strong desire to achieve the best. (illustrative image)
