Born from vines over a century old, this Casa da Passarella Vindima is a glorious return to form for the Dão – a truly triumphant expression. Crafted with meticulous care – 18 months in French oak barrels followed by further aging in the bottle – it boasts a deep ruby hue, aromas steeped in tradition, and a remarkably persistent finish. Legend has it that the famed P63 grapes, brought by José Maria da Fonseca, left a lasting legacy, and this wine, made from 2009 grapes, certainly seems to honour that heritage. An excellent pairing with a hearty beef dish, or simply to savour its intricate character.
