At Casa de Mouraz, all vineyards are cultivated organically, without the use of herbicides or synthetic agrochemicals, and have been ECOCERT certified since 1996. The soil is fertilised through planting seedling crops and organic composts. Vine treatments use natural products such as copper, sulphur, seaweed, clay and herbal infusions. Biological agriculture at Casa de Mouraz is guided by respect for soil, plants, humans and life in its diversity and ecological integrity. With less manipulation, the soil produces a more authentic wine that faithfully reflects the terroir and the vineyard where it was grown. Since the end of 2006, Casa de Mouraz has also adopted biodynamic practices, aiming to deepen the harmony between soil, plants, animals and humans. (illustrative image only)
