This Palhete from the Dão, boasting notes of Alfrocheiro and Fernão Pires, bursts with youthful colour, a clear sign of its impressive 89 points. The fruit is wonderfully concentrated, reminiscent of wild raspberry and strawberry – a truly elegant expression. It’s a light wine with a surprisingly robust structure, like a well-developed Bical, and would be fantastic with roasted chicken or high-quality cured meats.
