The extended skin contact – a full seven hours – really showcases the initial burst of red fruit, largely thanks to the Trincadeira. Fermented at a cool 13°C, it’s a remarkably elegant wine, reflecting the influence of the Touriga Nacional. Absolutely perfect with grilled fish or a roast chicken infused with herbs.”
