Casa Relvas is a family venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aiming to continue a five‑generation story of passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, now covering roughly 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive groves and 350 ha of vineyards, all managed under integrated production. With three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles a year, 70 % of which serve the international market. The winery is present in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of Alentejo.
