Casa Relvas is a family venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aiming to continue a five‑generation legacy steeped in a passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years, the family has grown alongside the business, and today it oversees roughly 750 ha of native forest, 225 ha of olive groves, and 350 ha of vineyards all managed with integrated production methods. With the three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are destined for export, reaching more than 30 countries worldwide and showcasing the best of the Alentejo.
