This Douro Moscatel, hand-harvested on the Favaios plateau, seems to have enjoyed a little nap before fermentation – a deliberate indulgence, no doubt! The lengthy maceration – a precise 48 hours – ensures the grapes fully unleash their aromatic richness, delivering a burst of lychee, rose, and tropical fruit. The result is a vibrant, citrine-hued wine, lauded by *Revista de Vinhos* with a respectable 85 points, thanks to its elegance and, of course, that coveted lingering finish. Seriously delicious with peach and sheep’s cheese.
