This “Cascas Lisboa” unveils a wonderfully understated pale yellow, hinting at a remarkably refined experience. Delicate floral notes – a whisper of jasmine – intertwine with a touch of tropical fruit, think ripe summer passionfruit and maybe a hint of pineapple, largely thanks to the Chardonnay influence, which certainly lends it elegance. The palate is beautifully balanced, showcasing a well-tended vineyard and the solid backbone provided by Fernão Pires. Seriously, it’s begging for a plate of grilled fish with lemon rice – a true classic pairing to really let it sing.
