This Douro wine, crafted by Rui Roboredo, clearly poured its heart and soul into the winemaking. The boldness of immediate crushing and vigorous pressing hints at a youthful spirit, underpinned by the classic structure of Touriga Nacional and Aragonez. Extended maceration, carefully managed at a gentle temperature, unlocks intense colour and tannins – a truly powerful statement. And the partial malolactic fermentation in oak barrels adds a beautiful layer of complexity, perfect with a hearty beef stew, no doubt.
