Castelo do Sulco Selecção do Enólogo Branco is made from Arinto and Fernão Pires grapes, offering a notably fruity profile with a well‑balanced body and acidity, a crisp freshness, and a citrusy finish. The Quinta do Gradil has been cited in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. It was only in the 17th century that the vineyard and wine became part of the estate’s economic activity. A decisive moment came in the 19th century when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited the Quinta from her father, turning it into a benchmark agricultural enterprise focused on wine production. Over the years, the Quinta has continued to be a Portuguese reference worldwide, now led by Luís Vieira. (Illustrative image only)
