The Monção Regional Cooperative Winery was founded on 11 October 1958, by the initiative of 25 viticulturists, and is situated in the heart of the Demarcated Region of the Green Wines, in the Monção and Melgaço sub‑region. Here, the raw material, combined with careful grape selection and modern winemaking technologies, guarantees the quality of its products, which are recognized not only in Portugal but also in many countries across Europe, Africa, North America and South America.
