This Ceretto, hailing from the incredibly small vineyard of Castiglione Falletto – a mere under a hectare – truly feels sculpted from the Villero and Rocche rocks. A family-run affair with a well-deserved ambition of a monopole, it’s a Nebbiolo that’s garnered praise from Robert Parker (98/100) and Falstaff (97/100). Seriously impressive stuff, and utterly sublime with a good, hearty beef roast – exactly as the experts recommend.
