This Chão da Quinta is a real burst of Encruzado and Malvasia Fina – it’s almost overwhelmingly fragrant, with notes of white and pink flowers dancing on the palate, underpinned by a lovely herbaceous lift reminiscent of the Dão hills. The acidity is remarkably persistent, providing a wonderfully robust structure, and a delightful textural contrast that sings beautifully with a grilled white fish or roast chicken with aromatic herbs, wouldn’t you agree?
