Crafted in Ningxia, a region remarkably generous in 2016, it boasts intensely concentrated flavours of eggplant and hazelnuts, thanks to those plump, healthy berries measuring 24-25 Brix. Supervision from Lenz M. Moser, who spends half the year harvesting there, combined with the judicious use of 5 French oak barriques (including a significant amount of new wood), delivers a 24-month maturation that truly amplifies the Cabernet Sauvignon’s expressiveness. A wine perfect for robust red meats, perhaps with a healthy splash of adventurous spirit.
