The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is consistent with their age. The National Wine Cellar is obliged to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that normally reveal distinct characteristics in aged wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even inside a bottle, aromas evolve in different ways. Thus, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this helps release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
