Château D’Armailhac is situated in the Pauillac sub‑region of Bordeaux, and its earliest records date back to 1680, when two brothers acquired plots of land on which they later began planting vines. At the end of the eighteenth century, the vineyard—generally called Mouton d’Armailhac—spanned about 52 hectares between Brane‑Mouton in the north and Pibran in the south. Today it covers 72 hectares of vineyards north of Pauillac, planted on clay‑lime soils, giving Château d’Armailhac’s wines their characteristic refinement and elegance. (image purely illustrative)
