Garrafeira Nacional ensures all bottles are kept at the proper temperature and humidity, but it also maintains the visual characteristics that come with age. We usually choose brands and regions that perform well in old‑wine tastings. However, wine is a living product that, like everything else, ages, and even inside a bottle its aromas can evolve in different ways. Therefore Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the wine’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let it breathe first, which helps release its natural aromas after so many years of closure.
