A rosé made from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (the latter also known as Vermentino) displays a pale pink hue and a full, exuberant flavor profile that is at once dry and smooth. “Designed” by Sacha Lichine after he acquired Château d’Esclans in 2006, his goal was to create the world’s best rosés, reviving the concept of a “Rosé Renaissance.” Lichine introduced new and innovative winemaking techniques in Provence that revolutionized the styles of rosés produced there, leading to the creation of Whispering Angel—a world‑class rosé that offers both approachability and accessibility, making it delightful.
