The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, when exposed to time, can evolve in aroma even while sealed in a bottle. Thus, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you decide to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that a typical old wine tends to develop. (illustrative image)
